The OptiX OSN 1800 series products include OptiX OSN 1800 V, OptiX OSN 1800 II, and OptiX OSN 1800 I. The OptiX OSN 1800 integrates both OTN and WDM features and uniformly transmits various services at the metro network edge, including broadband, private line, and mobile services. It also supports the unified transmission of multiple services ranging from 2 Mbit/s to 100 Gbit/s, unified switching of OTN/PKT/SDH services, and automatic commissioning at the optical layer. In this way, OptiX OSN 1800 flattens networks, reduces network deployment and O&M costs, and provides optimal solutions for various metro scenarios
Ultra-large bandwidth
- Supports 80 x 100 Gbit/s DWDM capacity at the optical layer, meeting the increasing bandwidth requirements of metro aggregation and access in the FMC 2.0 era.
- Implements unified switching of VC/PKT/OTN services to greatly improve bandwidth usage.
- Integrates the MPLS-TP function, so that the OSN 1800 can be used with the OSN 8800 and OSN 9800 to support end-to-end MPLS-TP networking.
Full service scenarios
- Supports various services, including E1, E3, T3, FE, GE, STM-x, 10GE, 100GE, CPRI, FC, and SAN.
- Supports various service scenarios, such as fixed broadband, mobile backhaul, and leased line.
Clock
Supports the transmission of 2M, IEEE 1588v2, and synchronous Ethernet clocks to fully satisfy the clock precision requirements of 3G, 4G, and future 5G networks.
Flexible installation
- 1 U and 2 U boxes can be installed in a cabinet, on the wall, or on a pole.
- 1 U, 2 U, and 5 U boxes can be installed in a 19-inch or 23-inch standard cabinet.
Environmental protection
- Uses natural heat dissipation and AC/DC power supplies.
- Achieves flexible deployment at any site based on case-shape design.
- Reduces power consumption. A typical 1 U chassis consumes less than 25 W, which is less than the power consumption of a table lamp.
TSDN
TSDN is the core architecture of the next-generation transport network. It features automation, virtualization, flexibility, openness, and synergy. Through TSDN, the OptiX OSN 1800 can realize hardware virtualization at the network access layer, supporting various apps and service innovations.
