FONST5000 is a 100G intelligent WDM transmission platform based on OTN for IP core services. The platform supports 96×100Gbit/s (9.6Tb/s) ultra long-distance transmission, with 5.4T OTH electrical cross-scheduling capability, fully supports ROADM dynamic wavelength scheduling and G.709 standard interface, with perfect wavelength and sub-rate Protect your strategy and give your network peace of mind.

Excellent scalability
Flexible support for STM-1/4/16/64/256, GE/10GE/40GE/100GE, OTU1/OTU2/OTU3/OTU4, and SAN (Storage Area Network) services, while supporting service expansion;
It has 5.4Tb/s electrical cross-scheduling capability and supports ODU0/1/2/2e/3/4 centralized electrical crossover. It supports single-wavelength TMUX function, which can greatly improve the flexibility and bandwidth utilization of service bearer and scheduling.
The product has a smooth wave upgrade capability of 48 waves/96 waves. The single wave supports a maximum of 100Gb/s, and the C-band has a maximum capacity of 9.6Tb/s.
Supports mixed transmission of 10Gbit/s, 40Gbit/s and 100Gbit/s signals, and provides a mature hybrid networking solution;

Good stability
Supports common FEC coding, super FEC coding, soft decision super strong FEC coding, PM-QPSK, P-DPSK and RZ-DQPSK modulation, and supports transmission technologies such as distributed Raman amplification with ultra long span and Ultra long distance transmission capability;
Supports line and single-wavelength power, dispersion, OSNR (optical signal to noise ratio), pre-correction error rate (Q value) and other indicators to monitor and adaptive adjustment to ensure long-term stable operation of the system.

High reliability
Supports optical layer optical channel and optical line 1:1 protection, and supports protection modes such as channel (1+1, m:n, ring network) and ODUk (1+1, m:n, ring network);
It supports device-level redundancy backup such as power supply, NE management unit, and electrical cross unit. The sub-fans of the intelligent fan unit are backed up each other and can be independently maintained to ensure that the system still has a normal operating temperature when the single sub-fan is being maintained.

Maintainable
Support statistical analysis of performance parameters such as optical power, OSNR, bit error rate, and Q value, generate reports, and automatically optimize functions;
Support channel optical power automatic equalization, automatic control of line optical power, automatic compensation of line optical power, with single disk automatic discovery capability, greatly reducing operation and maintenance costs;
Supports the standard G.709 interface, which provides rich OTN overhead bytes for wavelength services. In addition to OSC, it also supports single-wavelength-based ESC monitoring channels to improve network protection and network management monitoring capabilities.
It has IAMS (Integrated Maintenance System), which supports alarm, performance comprehensive analysis and early warning, and fast and accurate fault location to improve the stability of OTN network operation.
